Thomas Willingale AxeThe Willingale Axe is allegedly the axe used by Thomas Willingale on 11th November 1860 when he asserted his ancient rights to go into the forest and lop branches from the trees of the forest. It is currently kept at the Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge, Chingford. See the Hunting Lodge website |
