The Willingale Family History Society was formed on 2 July 2002 at a meeting of interested parties held in the Willingale Room of Lopping Hall in Loughton. Click the links to see the minutes of the inaugural meeting of the WFS and the agenda of the subsequent AGM.

The purpose of the Society is to identify all Willingales that have lived, and to promote and maintain an interest in the history of Willingale families. This will be achieved through research, discussion and mutual co-operation through such means as the internet, a half-yearly journal, and occasional social functions. The Society is open to anyone with an interest in the subject and is affiliated to the Guild Of One Name Studies; it is governed by committee.
