The Willingale Family History Society was formed on 2 July 2002 with the purpose to identify all Willingales that have lived, and to promote and maintain an interest in the history of Willingale families.

We will achieve this through research, discussion and mutual co-operation through such means as the internet, a half-yearly journal, and occasional social functions. The Society is open to anyone with an interest in the subject and is affiliated to the Guild Of One Name Studies; it is governed by committee.

To run the Society efficiently for the benefit of its members it is necessary to cover costs by charging a small annual subscription, as detailed below.

Fees:

Annual Subscriptions £  12.50

Annual subscriptions are due on 31st July each year.

** PAYMENT IS ONLY ACCEPTABLE IN BRITISH £ STERLING **

Membership funds contribute to the cost of running this website, organising our regular WFS gettogethers, producing the Lopping Times our twice yearly journal and our research into Willingale family history.

Funds from the society were also used to make a contribution to the blue heritage plaque for Thomas Willingale, that Loughton Town Council erected at St Johns Church, Loughton, where Thomas Willingale was buried.
