We also sell an English produced wine, with a commemorative ‘Epping Loppers’ label as detailed in the photos below. A case of 6 bottles retails for £50, plus postage & packaging, with a proportion of this going to WFS funds. To order, please contact Keith Willingale.
The label depicts 2 of the men most involved in the fight to save Epping Forest, Thomas Willingale’s son Samuel and nephew Alfred, who were both imprisoned for 7 days in 1866 for ‘injuring forest trees’. William Higgins, the nephew of Thomas’s wife Hetty was also imprisoned.
